The Pig & Tail was made by a husband and wife team who wanted Birmingham to enjoy their love of family style fresh food. After much hard work, ‘The Pickled Piglet’ was born on Gas Street. The food consisted of craft beers; uncomplicated, exciting dishes and family style served food. This proved to be very popular which led to the opening of the second venue, ‘The Pig & Tail’ in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter. It’s in the historic “George & Dragon” building which long ago used to be as a pig sty and it is now a modern cocktail, craft beer and grazing style bar.
