The Hive is a social enterprise project which provides healthy food and work experience opportunities to students from next doors Argent College.
They have their very own rooftop ‘microfarm’ that sits above the kitchen and bakery. They get supplied organic salads and vegetables which are used in all their dishes. The rooftop garden also supplies to Argent College, Moseley Farmers’ Market, the public and also sells to local businesses.
“At The Hive Café and Bakery, we change our menu every day. The food we serve is healthy, affordable, organic and 80% vegetarian. Vegan options are also available. Nothing frozen and only fresh. There is no set cuisine. It is inspired by the produce in season”
