Hornbag by Leah Fennel

11th July @ 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm

As Part of Birmingham Fest“Do I want to kill myself or do I just need a shag?” Is the question that world’s sexiest woman (Leah Fennell) asks herself every day of her life. Join Miss Fennell as she delves into every sordid and embarrassing detail of her real-life tribulations with love, longing and sweet, sweet anti-depressants to try and figure out once and for all if she’s a filthy hornbag or actually just kinda lonely. Will she find love? Will she find happiness? Will she find a man with a huge penis and a willingness to put it inside her? Should she just go to therapy? Yes, is the answer to at least one of those questions. I will leave it with you to decide which. But know this- this dweeby little bitch is gonna play her guitar, she will sing out of tune, she will rant, cry, scream and laugh, and then she will start the show. Fuckin’ gottem!See you there hot stuff, and remember to bring a condom, you’re gonna need protection!

Artist bioLeah Fennell is a theatre-maker, actor and artist from Sutton Coldfield. She is self-proclaimed “goth Sue Pollard,” a purveyor of stupidity, and very-timely 21st Century Dadaist. Her credits include ‘All My Pretty Ones’ performed at The Birmingham Rep, ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ for Blue Orange Theatre, and ‘Near To’ performed at Edinburgh Fringe. Beyond theatre she is the founder of the art zine and community ‘Belka ‘n’ Strelka,’ social media manager for ‘White Bear Productions’ and is a proud regional ambassador for the charity ‘It Gets Better’. She would also like you to know that she is extremely physically attractive, and not at all blind.
