On Friday the 17th of November, it was the annual Christmas lights switch on in the Jewellery Quarter.

As well as an enormous crowd, there was both musical entertainment and some delicious street food!

Some of the food included The Spice is Right and Street Souvlaki.

There was a diverse crowd in attendance including lots of families.

The event started at 17:00 and finished around 19:00 with special guest Janice Connolly (appearing as her Character Mrs Barbra Nice), to switch on the lights at 18:00.

The highlight of the night was the phenomenal fireworks display from the top of The Big Peg.
